Just a word of thanks to all who showed their support over the weekend either at the Quiz or the Big Breakfast. Both events were a great success and the generosity of everyone is truly amazing!
A special thank you to all the organisers. Vincent and the Crosskeys staff for running the quiz and Theresa and the CRDA crew, as well as Nuala and the Camogie Club, for the Big Breakfast.
See you all in Navan!

Name : BIGGEST LOSER / OPERATION TRANSFORMATION / OFF THE BOOZE ON THE BALL / GET BEHIND THE 'GAELS - JAN 2014
Date : 29 December 2013
Comment :

OK folks - to show your solidarity with the hurlers who are about to knuckle down to some serious training for the All-Ireland IHC Semi-Final, we are launching a fundraiser for supporters to take part in to show some support for the lads, and at the same time start 2014 by improving your fitness, or losing a few extra pounds (cash variety preferred!)

You can decide what format your health / weight-loss programme can take - be it joining the walking club, starting a jogging group, or hitting the gym - all we would ask is that whatever you are doing try to schedule it at the same time as the hurlers training sessions to show your support by being active in the background.

Registration will take place Wed 1st Jan from 3-5pm at the Clubrooms, and further details on the fundraising aspect will be released this week.

PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE 'GAELS!

A big thank you to all those who took part in and helped out at the Alastair Breslin U16 hurling skills competition today.

It is a great competition for the club to run and the skill level was very high today even with the damp conditions.

Congratulations to Pearse Downey on winning the Alastair Breslin trophy for 2013 and Ronan Graham on coming a very close second place.

Hi everyone. Dinner Dance prep is well on its way. Can I ask you all (hurlers/camogs/footballers/all club members) for nominations for spirit of the year award. (Carmel Murray Cup). There will be nomination sheets circulated though in past years most people have preferred to make their nominations via private FB, text or email. Can you make your nomination and give a reason and send/give it to any of the following Deirdre/paddy Graffin, Angela Graham, Fiona O'Neill or myself. Can all nominations please be in by Friday 15th Nov. Also can u share this information on your page and with people not on Facebook. Thanks
Brigid
